I started ceramics in 2021 and now practice at a shared studio in Glasgow. I am interested in figurative art and incoroporate handbuilt figurines into my thrown work. I am particularly interested in functional pieces with heavy decorative elements but also will usually just make fun animal figurines.
I am also concerned with sustainability in the studio ceramics scene and have been working to process my own ceramics materials from urban waste.
I enjoy making more elaborate pieces but I am fundamentally invested in ceramics as craft and try to carve out the time to perfect my basic forms. So from time to time there will be mugs and jugs available to buy. If there are any shapes or forms you are particularly interested in, don’t hesitate to drop me a line! I’m more than happy to take commisions :)
